Who We Are

Inspire Polytechnic was established with a transformative vision, aimed at empowering the Nigerian youth by providing high quality education and skills development opportunity.

The institution’s first centre was opened in 2017, in Yaba, Lagos, an area known for its educational institutions and innovation.

With 8 years of operational history in Nigeria to date, Inspire is also promoted by a international corporate group based in London, UK, which brings a wealth of expertise in the West African regional market, and resources to the Nigerian educational landscape.

What We Do

The learning experience at Inspire Polytechnic has been crafted to go beyond just listening and memorising facts. The faculty are passionate about delivering a structured, learned centred, practical outcome based approach, including Problem Based Learning, Critical Thinking, and Project Analysis.

By teaching using real-world problems and real business cases, Inspire Polytechnic’s students develop the skills and confidence to devise innovating solutions to complex, modern-day problems. The academic staff are equally supported by a robust professional development framework, ensuring that as educators, they are delivering the most up to date academic content, enhancing the learning experience and enrichment of students further.

At Inspire Polytechnic, course modules have also been designed to expose students beyond a core curriculum, ensuring that soft skills and character traits are coached and developed, so that they stand out during interview assessments as not just technically knowledgeable, but also personable.

The Nigeria Opportunity

Each year, over 1.3 million aspiring Nigerian students are left with no place to pursue higher education, as universities and polytechnics provide under 40% of seats for graduating high school students.

Inspire Polytechnic was founded to specifically address this gap, by promoting vocational training and a credible practical education alternative, to give Nigerian students better access and more choice of routes to pursuing further training and qualifications.

Our intentions also align with a number of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), including reducing the level of illiteracy, raising the skills and capabilities of students to global standards in their different fields, therefore supporting the future of skilled labor in Nigeria.

The Future of Inspire

Following the success of the Inspire Polytechnic operations to date, there are plans to set up an additional 5 centres across Nigeria.

This will allow us to train over 10,000 students, and significantly increase the pool of skilled labour workers for industries across the Nigerian economy.

Equally, we are looking at increasing the number of courses offered to students and securing new partnerships for internships, placements, and graduate employment, to further broaden the opportunities that Inspire Polytechnic can offer to students.
